Here I will record, as faithfully as possible, my records of the traversing of these spaces and these time. I am aware that events may seem astonishing. Indeed, I must say that to me, they certainly were at the time. You must understand that the phenomena that I record are in no way “past” events as many are still unfolding. This is the reason for the preface which you should have already read. I cannot guarantee that by merely reading these journals, you will not become part of the phenomena described. I cannot guarantee that you will not be contacted by entities of which you become aware.

The events of which we are involved began during my studies and while pouring through various books which had been recommended to me by an Arthurian researcher. During these days I came across the pages of a book which had been removed from their original binding. The pages had been tucked inside another book and through the years had degraded and become nearly disintegrated into dust. Yet some passages were legible, and it was generally it was the mystery of this book that had driven my search and discovery for many years.

I felt it my duty as a scholar of things aetheric and mysterious, and although I was neither funded nor supported by an official school (indeed the age of schools no longer exists in my part of Worlde Realm), I have continued to pursue my studies at great cost to myself. Indeed, I maintain that this may be the only way to preserve purity and integrity of research! As it was, I had been trained in many philosophical texts formally, through the networks available, and nothing of substance was essentially offered through the various buildings propped up today as “schools”.

The pages which I speak of were barely legible and included some puzzling illustrations. Some were rather clear and the others were tattered. A knock at the door – I shall have to continue this entry at another time.
